A reputable infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of two major packages of work - a 30m Civils package and a 30m Groundworks & Enabling package - forming the main entrance route to the Sizewell C
This is a high-profile, long-term project with national significance, offering the opportunity to play a leading role in the delivery of complex infrastructure works.
The Role
As Commercial Manager, you will take full responsibility for the commercial performance across both packages. You will manage a team of commercial professionals on-site, maintain close client relationships, and ensure effective contract and cost management under NEC Option C.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial delivery of two major infrastructure packages
- Manage a site-based commercial team, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance
- Administer NEC Option C contracts and oversee change control processes
- Work closely with the client and internal stakeholders to resolve commercial issues
- Drive value engineering, cost forecasting, and risk management
Requirements
- Strong commercial background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience with NEC Option C contracts
- Proven track record of leading commercial teams on high-value packages
- Confident in client-facing roles and commercial negotiations
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
