Our client is seeking a skilled Construction Site Agent to join their team on a contract basis, focusing primarily on planned highway and infrastructure projects. This role is pivotal within the dedicated Construction Team, tasked with ensuring project efficiency, safety, and compliance with high-quality standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise schemes to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Organise labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including network managers, local authorities, and designers.
  • Ensure construction plans, method statements, and safety systems are in place.
  • Maintain accurate records, including site diaries and resource allocations.
  • Support the Scheme Delivery Manager in developing construction programmes.
  • Coordinate traffic management and value engineering reviews.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • IOSH/SMSTS & CSCS certification required.
  • HNC/Degree in a relevant field (preferred but not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cost-control skills.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
