We’re Hiring: Customer Support Specialist

BCMGlobal are on the lookout for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team here in Ipswich. We are looking for someone who is naturally supportive, caring, and is willing to go above and beyond to help find our customers solutions.

You’ll be the supportive voice, helping customers explore their options and signposting them to additional resources that can improve their financial well-being.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Talking to customers at risk of financial harm and really listening to their circumstances
  • Working with them to create sustainable support plans
  • Helping customers maximise income and reduce stress by pointing them to the right resources
  • Advocating for vulnerable customers to make sure outcomes are always fair and clear
  • Collaborating with teams and leaders to challenge processes and ensure we always do right by the customer

What we’re looking for:

  • A people person with empathy, patience, and resilience
  • Someone who can handle tough conversations with kindness and clarity
  • A non-judgemental listener who can explain complex things simply
  • Knowledge of the benefits system or financial support services
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) – you’ll be making a real impact through both
