Time Appointments are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading local business who is currently seeking to appoint a technically minded Design Technician to join their successful team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an award-winning business who value their employees.

With the use of CAD, the successful Design Technician will be accountable for producing, checking, and processing accurate drawings and specifications, checking documentation such as specifications and survey reports, and liaising with clients and different departments within the business as appropriate.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven technical design experience gained from a construction or architectural environment
  • Basic CAD experience, with the ability to understand and interpret technical architectural drawings
  • An accurate, methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • A high degree of professionalism., with a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Accurate typing skills
