Location: Near Stowmarket, Suffolk
Salary: £43,000–£55,000 + Benefits & Bonus

My client seeks an CADÂ Design Engineer to take a key role in developing electrical schematics, control panels and wiring systems. This role offers technical variety, hands-on collaboration with manufacturing teams, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation.
What you’ll do
- Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts & wiring diagrams in EPLAN Pro Panel, Training is provided to get you up to speed
- Produce project documentation (BOMs, cable schedules, terminal plans)
- Work closely with project managers & cross-functional teams
- Support manufacturing with technical input & design queries
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC/UL/EN)
- Participate in design reviews & improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring
- Proven CADÂ design experienceÂ
- Strong understanding of electrical systems & industrial automation
- Ability to interpret standards & apply best practice
- Strong problem-solving mindset & high attention to detail
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
