Job Purpose

  • Manage a varied portfolio, leading the provision of advisory services
  • Work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, corporates, and trusts
  • Preparation of technical tax advisory work, including reports for internal teams, non-tax stakeholders, and direct to client notes
  • Manage complex HMRC enquiries and disclosures with a strong understanding of various UK tax issues
  • Review work prepared by junior staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying knowledge gaps
  • Work closely across departments to provide guidance on tax matters
  • Champion professional development across the team, providing training where needed
  • Driving service excellence with a keen eye for detail

  • ATT or CTA qualified or qualified by extensive experience
  • Impressive experience within UK practice
  • Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organised, with the ability to managing own workload autonomously
  • Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
  • Self-motivated, professional and reliable
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
  • An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
