About the role:
This Trainee Financial Adviser role is a long-term opportunity to grow into a key member of the business. You will have a supportive working environment focused on high standards, client care, and real career development. In this role you will support through the advice process through administration and paraplanning tasks along with studying towards professional qualifications. You will shadow client meetings and learn first-hand how to deliver thoughtful financial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client & Admin Support: Handle day-to-day client service, process new business, manage client documentation, and liaise with product providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Paraplanning & Technical Assistance: Support the advice process by gathering and analyse client data, researching financial products, and preparing suitability reports under supervision.
- Client Engagement & Meeting Support: Attend client meetings to observe and assist, prepare meeting packs, take notes, and manage follow-up tasks.
- Professional Development: Work towards your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with full study support, aiming for qualification within 24 months.
- Progression to Adviser Role: Transition into running client review meetings under supervision, with a view to taking full ownership post-CAS, managing existing clients and developing new relationships.

- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to start with the basics
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
- Proficiency with technology which includes Microsoft Office, CRM systems, cashflow modelling tools
- A degree would be highly advantageous but not essential
