  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM to 17:00 PM; plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Reed is collaborating with a rapidly growing client in Ipswich, seeking additional support for their warehouse team to accommodate increased demand. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Operate machinery prior to assembly.
  • Produce products to the desired specification and quality standards.
  • Operate various machinery and basic power tools.
  • Support other departments involving picking and preparing customer orders for delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas with a 'clean as you go' approach.
  • Contribute actively to team activities and promote best working practices.
  • Adhere to company Quality, Health, and Safety policies by reporting near misses, accidents, and incidents as required.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support audits within the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • No prior industry experience required; full training will be provided.
  • Previous production experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and sustain effective internal relationships.
  • High level of resilience and drive, with the flexibility to adapt and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, positive "can do" attitude.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet targets.
