Location: Ipswich | 4 Days Office/1 Day RemoteSalary: £70,000

A leading UK-based technology company is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join its fast-growing team delivering innovative data intelligence solutions. Our platforms support complex investigations across public and private sectors and are now expanding into new industries.

This role is primarily office-based in the Ipswich area, with one remote day per week. You'll be instrumental in building core platform features and contributing to a high-performance engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Back End systems and RESTful APIs in Python

• Contribute to platform architecture and microservices

• Build and deploy secure, scalable code

• Collaborate with QA and Product teams in Agile workflows

• Mentor peers and lead technical discovery initiatives

Requirements:

• 5+ years software engineering experience in complex environments

• Expert-level Python skills; familiar with Git, CI/CD, and AWS

• Strong knowledge of API integrations and system design

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Security Clearance (SC) eligibility required: must have lived in the UK for the last 5 years
