My client are currently recruiting for a Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer to join its growing national team! Would you like to be a part of this exciting company?The Role..As a Service & Repair Engineer, you will be attending customers properties in order to either carry out their annual service or to diagnose and repair a fault on their heating system.

Engineers are usually given around 6 appointments per day and are targeted on a first time fix KPI as well as other performance related criteria. You would report directly into the Service & Repair manager. The successful candidate will work a shift pattern consisting of two late shifts per week (11am-7pm) and will be expected to join an 'on call' rota that will consist of Saturdays.

This will be paid as overtime.The Person...The successful applicant should have an extensive knowledge of heating systems and the faults associated with them and MUST have an excellent diagnosis skillset.

knowledge of the wiring of conventional systems is a key requirement along with using a multi-meter to fault find on domestic boilers. The company is looking for an ambitious individual who is keen to work hard and grow with the business. Systems can break at any time and as such the successful candidate must be aware that they will be expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime in the winter months as well as covering call outs.
