CAD Technician
- Location: Ipswich
- Job Type: Temporary (3 Months)
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Salary: Up to 40 per hour
We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join a highly respected Engineering business based in Ipswich. This role requires a professional who is fully proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, as well as Autodesk Inventor. You will have the opportunity to work alongside both senior and apprentice CAD Technicians and a highly talented in-house engineering team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Create detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD 2D and 3D, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Assist in the development and modification of designs for engineering projects.
- Ensure all CAD drawings and designs meet company standards and client specifications.
- Provide support to both senior and apprentice CAD Technicians in the team.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on drafting progress and design details.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Excellent technical and engineering design skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with other team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
