About the Role:
Our client, a well-established, family-run maintenance contractor based in East Anglia, is currently seeking experienced Floor Layers to work on social housing properties, primarily voids, in and around Ipswich and surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent, long-term work with a reputable company, offering excellent rates and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing a range of flooring types including:
- Altro floors
- Cap and cove
- PolySafe
- Flat lay
- Floor Laying
- Latex and floor preparation
- Working primarily on void properties
- Travelling across Ipswich and surrounding areas
Requirements:
- Proven experience in floor laying (as listed above)
- Previous experience in floor laying in social housing preferred but not essential
- Full UKÂ driving licence
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
Working Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, full-time
- £180 (using own van) (self-employed)
