We're currently recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join a busy education setting in Ipswich on a 4–6 week temporary contract.This is an on-site role, and you will be required to pass an enhanced DBS check.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st & 2nd line technical support to staff and students
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Set up and maintain IT equipment (PCs, printers, AV equipment, etc.)
  • Support classroom technology and resolve day-to-day IT queries
  • Escalate issues where necessary and maintain accurate support records
Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in an IT support or technician role
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and general hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an education environment (desirable but not essential)
