Customs & Port Operations Coordinator

Full Time, Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our busy Port Operations Team. The successful applicant will retrieve and process into internal and external systems; all import manifests for the trades designated, to meet the deadlines set out by MSC, Port of calls and HM Customs. You will work with a team of well trained, multi skilled colleagues able to adapt to meet the demands of the job wherever the workload is greater.?

How you will help us and what you can expect

  • Ensuring all manifests are uploaded into MSC Link within target deadlines?

  • Communicate completion of vessels to import documentation department?

  • Completion of vessel out turns in a timely manner and advise all parties involved of amendments??

  • Processing Change of destination requests and communicating this to MSC Planners?

  • Booking and monitoring of?transhipment?cargo, to ensure smoothest transit time?

  • Providing HM Customs with all relevant information prior to ships arrival?

  • To communicate to other MSC Agencies to obtain load list / intended?transhipments?& advise of COD’s?

  • Ensure customs clearance formalities are taken care of prior to shipment?

  • Liaising directly and indirectly with customers and trade desks?
