Time Appointments are delighted to be working on behalf of a prestigious company based in Ipswich, who are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to manage and track shipping containers arriving in and across the UK. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong administrative background and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the stock of shipping containers from overseas and UK-based suppliers
  • Accurately inputting and maintaining stock data across systems
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability
  • Creating and managing purchase orders and sales invoices
  • Running and analysing stock reports using Excel
  • Conducting regular stock takes and resolve discrepancies
  • Liaising with logistics partners, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate container movement
  • General administration to support stock and operations processes

Previous Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in stock control, logistics, or a similar admin-heavy role
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experienced in raising invoices and purchase orders
  • Strong data input and report-running capabilities
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
