Adecco is proud to represent our client, a dedicated organisation who are a trusted provider of care equipment and are committed to enhancing care and improving lives. They are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse, Logistics & Technical Assistant to join their team in Ipswich!

Position: Warehouse, Logistics & Technical AssistantContract Type: PermanentAnnual Salary: £27,000 - £30,000Working Pattern: Full TimeDriving Required: Yes - full UK licence

What You'll Do:

As a vital part of our client's operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure their warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently carrying out all warehouse work and supporting delivery drivers with unloading.
  • Unpacking goods and organising them for stock or installation/delivery.
  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and setting up advanced products.
  • Managing goods in queries and overseeing the warranty & returns process.
  • Picking orders for installation and delivery while ensuring goods are ready for carriers for the collection time
  • Maintaining stock accuracy through regular stocktaking and adjustments.
  • Upholding good housekeeping standards in the yard, warehouse, and around company vehicles.
  • Adhering to the company's health and safety policy while being flexible to take on a range of tasks.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, including stock control
  • Administration experience would be advantageous, you must be technically minded and IT savvy
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills that foster collaboration.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities to keep operations on track.
  • A practical problem-solving attitude to overcome challenges.
  • A positive, present, productive, and persistent approach to your work.
