Our client, a prestigious financial services organisation based in Ipswich, are currently recruiting for a Litigation Officer to join their professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a someone with property experience who is looking to progress their career within a reputable company!

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Account management of a caseload of accounts that require progression through the litigation process
  • Ensuring that all Litigation activities are carried out in accordance with, and in excess of, the levels specified in the SLA, procedures, external assessors and current legislation
  • Liaising with third parties, solicitors and field agents to instruct activity in line with policies and procedures
  • Communicating with borrowers where possible to try and find an alternative to litigation
  • Ensure all standards are achieved in line with client expectations of quality, productivity and performance

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Educated to Degree level in a Legal/Law related subject
  • Experience within mortgage debt collection or Litigation experience (highly desirable)
  • A customer focused approach with strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of applicable financial services regulations, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career within the industry
