About the Role:

Are you a passionate and dedicated SCPHN-qualified Health Visitor looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic and supportive team at [Trust or Organisation Name], where you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children from birth to five years old.

As a Health Visitor, you will deliver the Healthy Child Programme, working in partnership with families to assess health needs, promote healthy lifestyles, and provide evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver universal and targeted health visiting services in line with national and local guidelines
  • Undertake health assessments and develop care plans in partnership with families
  • Safeguard and protect vulnerable children and families
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, midwives, social workers, and other key professionals
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records using electronic health systems
  • Participate in audit, research, and service development initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) - Health Visitor qualification
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and families
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel effectively across the area)
