This is a hybrid working role with three days per week expected on site.
The Role
Reportingto the Commercial Manager responsibilities will include:
- Sub-contract procurement and managment
- Providing accurate and detailed cost management and reporting
- Ensuring all commercial objectives are achieved across the project
- Conducting cost value reconciliation and regular cost forecasting
- Preparing and negotiating subcontract and supply chain management
- Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Suitable Senior Quantity Surveyors will be educated to BSc / HNC Quantity Surveying
- The Senior QS will have significant experience working on civil engineering or large utility projects under NEC conditions
- Excellent commercial awareness with clearly demonstrable experience at Senior Quantity Surveyor level
