We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. This role involves working collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
  • Support team management by supervising junior staff during busy service periods.
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and special requests.
  • Participate in training sessions for new team members, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in roles related to food preparation or culinary arts.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality principles and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in supervising or managing kitchen staff.
  • A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
