We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant kitchen team. Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
- Support team management by supervising junior staff during busy service periods.
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and special requests.
- Participate in training sessions for new team members, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in roles related to food preparation or culinary arts.
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in supervising or managing kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
