We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client's finance team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchase ledger responsibilities as the successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, managing payments, and handling supplier queries, among other duties.
Day-to-day of the role:- Process all purchase invoices and obtain approval for payment.
- Carry out supplier statement reconciliations.
- Compile payment runs on a monthly basis, ensuring all supplier invoices are uploaded.
- Handle supplier queries over the phone and via email.
- Perform any other accounting duties as reasonably required by the Finance Manager.
- Experience in a similar accounting role.
- A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
- Must be organised, diligent, and able to work under pressure.
