We’re seeking Support Workers to provide care and stability to Looked After Children (LAC) aged 10–18 in unregulated placements across Suffolk.
What you’ll do:
- Support children with day-to-day life skills.
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment.
- Work with social workers, schools & health teams.
- Respond to challenging behaviours with compassion.
What you need:
- Experience with vulnerable young people (LAC or similar).
- Knowledge of safeguarding & trauma-informed care.
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends & sleep-ins.
- Driving licence & own vehicle.
Desirable:
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or Health & Social Care.
- Previous work in unregulated settings.
- PMVA/MAPA or similar training.
