Are you a dedicated and passionate educator looking for a opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and adults?

We are working in partnership with Suffolk County Council and are seeking a ESOL Tutors to take on students (of all ages) for virtual and face to face tuition in the Suffolk region. Sessions will be on held in small groups for adults on a daily, evening and weekend basis. Will be mainly working with refugees and asylum seekers who required additional English Language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective ESOL lessons to adults.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and creativity.
  • Adapt to different teaching styles, curricula, and home settings.
  • Manage behaviour and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Collaborate with staff and administrators to meet the educational needs of students.
  • Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines as provided.
  • Provide constructive feedback and assessment to support student's progress.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a related degree, be experience in ESOL and tutoring,
  • Have previous teaching/tutoring experience is preferred.
  • Have strong communication and proactive classroom management skills.
  • Be resilient and able to respond well to feedback.
  • Have a dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Be reliable and punctual with a commitment to fulfilling scheduled assignments.
