Technical Administrator

Pure are delighted to be supporting with the recruitment of a Technical Administrator for an organisation in Ipswich. Based within the Technical Department, this role is key to supporting the business through a range of administrative and coordination tasks. Responsibilities include processing technical specifications, reviewing and checking orders, managing the administration of live projects, handling inspection reports and guarantees, and responding to both internal and external telephone enquiries.
The ideal candidate will have a technical mindset and strong, demonstrable IT skills. They will also have experience in a similar administrative role, ideally involving quality control coordination, document checking, and project support within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Provide Administrative support within the department as the business demands
  • Working as part of a busy integral team
  • Liaison with clients, and Technical Managers and Site Technicians
  • Internal / external telephone enquiries
  • Administration of live projects including checking material orders & project documentation and issuing project notifications
  • Production and processing Technical specifications
  • Review, process and produce project documents including inspection reports & guarantees
  • Assisting other team members when required
  • To be flexible to work additional hours when required
  • Maintain high standards of service
  • Ensure accuracy at all times
  • Prioritise workload to meet the demands of the business
  • To assist within other areas of the department/business as needs arise
  • Ad-hoc duties
  • Use of purpose built database, Word and Excel
