STOCK CONTROLLER
Location: Irvine
Salary: 30,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent
A growing warehouse and distribution operation is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to take full ownership of stock accuracy, processes, and a small stock control team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead from the front - ensuring stock is received, stored, controlled, and reported accurately to support teams and customers across the UK.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning all stock control activity, accuracy, reporting, and reconciliation
- Leading, coaching, and developing a small team of stock control operatives
- Managing FIFO, stock rotation, slow movers, specials, and damaged goods
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and H&S
- Producing weekly/monthly stock reports and driving continuous improvement
- Liaising with purchasing, sales, and operations to keep stock flowing
- Supporting Goods In/Out and picking during peak periods
- Overseeing stock held at third-party warehouses when required
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in stock control or warehouse operations
- Confident using stock management systems
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel occasionally
- Physically fit and happy to assist with stock handling when needed
