Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 -16:30 / Friday 07:30 -12:30
Teleios is supporting a growing engineering business in the recruitment of a Manufacturing Production Planner. This position is essential in ensuring accurate, efficient routing of engineering sales orders and supporting smooth manufacturing operations.
About You
The ideal candidate will be technically minded, meticulous, and confident working with detailed engineering documentation. They will be adaptable, proactive and capable of communicating effectively with production, engineering and management teams. A passion for structured planning and process improvement will help them excel in this role.

Essential Experience
- Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, welding, coating, inspection, assembly and testing
- ERP system experience
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
- High attention to detail
Desired Experience
- 2–3 years of production planning experience
- Experience creating work orders or manufacturing routings
- Knowledge of computer databases or MRP/ERP configuration
- Continuous improvement mindset
About the Role
- Produce accurate manufacturing routings and work orders based on engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Determine the correct sequence of manufacturing processes
- Ensure routing aligns with customer requirements and internal procedures
- Use the company ERP system to maintain production data and documentation
- Support operations and engineering teams with planning queries
- Contribute to process improvements and departmental efficiency
