Maintenance Technician, 45.070 + 15% shift allowance, Irvine
Responsibilities:
- Perform safe and effective reactive and planned maintenance on production plant and equipment, ensuring both production and site downtime are minimised
- Complete all routine maintenance tasks on schedule
- Install new equipment as required
- Interrogate, fault-find, and resolve issues across company equipment and systems
- Actively participate in summer and winter overhaul programmes, ensuring all plant machinery is serviced, repaired and maintained appropriately
- Engage fully in continuous improvement initiatives, meetings, and assigned tasks
- Complete work permits and ensures all duties are carried out in full compliance with health and safety standards
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels to support wider business objectives
- Contribute to special projects when required
Requirements:
- Time-served, multi-skilled maintenance professional, ideally holding 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Experience working within a production environment and operating on shift patterns
- Desirable knowledge of PLCs, servo drives, robotics, and line automation systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to prioritise tasks and meet demanding deadlines
- High attention to detail, strong standards, and a results-driven mindset
- Flexible and willing to work shifts
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both production and maintenance teams as well as management
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with the capability to follow direction as needed
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently using own initiative
- Proven experience working with the systems noted above
