The Role


Our client is looking for an experienced Utility Surveyor to join their team. You must have experience carrying out surveys across a variety of industries and locations.

What You'll Be Doing


The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Conducting GPR and Utility Mapping surveys using cutting-edge equipment
  • Undertaking investigative utility surveys and conducting paperwork in accordance with company procedures
  • Engaging with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Creating Utility Survey Reports
  • Carrying out appropriate quality control checks and issuing data to CAD
  • Checking all survey drawings before they are issued to customers
  • Mentoring and training Trainee and Junior Surveyors, as required
  • Providing technical support to Project Managers and internal staff members


What We're Looking For


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in utility surveying
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of underground utility tracing and GPR
  • Experience working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys
  • Ability to post-process GPR data
  • Understanding of PAS 128:2014 specification surveys
  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly
  • A full UK manual driving licence
  • CSCS Card


Additionally, it is desirable to have some or all of the following:

  • Ability to use CAD software
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word
  • ProQual (NVQ) Level 3
  • SSSTS
