Search Consultancy are recruiting for experienced Domestic Cleaning Staff to work with one of our clients within the Arran Area in a Care Home Setting for 3 to 6 Months.
Location: Arran, Scotland
Rate of Pay: £13 per hour
Job Type: Full Time Position for 3 to 6 Months.
Shift Pattern: Full Time - Flexible with Hours
About the Role: We are a recruitment agency seeking dedicated and reliable domestic cleaning staff for a care home in Arran. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising.
- Ensure all areas of the care home are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Cleaning toilets and emptying bins.
- setting up of dining room tables with crockery and cutlery as required.
- serving of teas, coffees, sandwiches and baking when required to visiting groups.
- Operating laundry equipment, as and when required, in the cleaning, drying and pressing of bedding and other ancillary domestic items.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certificate.
- Must be able to drive due to the remote location.
- Strong commitment to the role for the duration of 3 to 6 months.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
