Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse for a temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to neonates in a well-established health care setting. The role requires recent UK-based experience, a valid professional registration, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide neonatal care to newborns in critical or specialised care units

  • Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care

  • Assist in the assessment, planning, and delivery of individual patient care

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with clinical guidelines and procedures

  • Respond to medical emergencies and assist with the stabilisation of neonates when necessary

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development

  • Ensure compliance with all clinical standards and regulatory requirements

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practices and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
  • Recent UK experience in a neonatal or similar health care setting (essential)

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the necessary specialist qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • DBS check and proof of any relevant clearances

  • References from 2 previous employers

  • No warnings or restrictions with the Professional Body
