Role: Senior Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location - Osterley, UK (2 Days per week in office) (Sometimes out-of-hours support is required and also sometimes weekend testing can be there.)

Aws certification would be a need as they would be knowing a lot of things on AWS

Someone who has worked e2e architecting design to delivery.

They use AWS cdk framework so that is required. They use Ias

Candidate can be a SME help in making architecture decisions.

Act as a lead developer would be advantage but s/he wont be leading a team or line managing anyone.

What you'll do
Develop excellent quality software
Participate in the full software life cycle, including support and continuous integration
Contribute to the technical direction of the team
Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers on the team
Share and generate new ideas, provide constructive and useful feedback to peers
Work with internal teams, external vendors and colleagues in Comcast in the US
Quickly build prototypes and work with top brains in ML across the industry

What you'll bring
You have at least 2 years of experience as an AWS software developer - this is a must.

AWS certification is a bonus
Expertise in working and following the best practices of using AWS serverless.
Proven ability to refactor and write performant and clean code
Existing experience or ability to very quickly pick up JavaScript/Typescript. It will be nice if you have experience working with Python, React, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AppSync/GraphQL, API Gateway, Step Functions etc
Responsibility for reviewing and testing your own and teammates' code
Restless attitude and a drive to always make things better and quicker
Passion for technology and a fast pace of deliver
Experience working with CI/CD in an agile team.
