We are seeking an ESOL Lecturer to deliver engaging and effective lessons in Level 1 English to speakers of other languages. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about language education and has a strong background in conducting Speaking & Listening exams.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for ESOL students.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Prepare students for Speaking & Listening exams, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria.
- Attend and contribute to department meetings and training sessions.
- CELTA certification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching ESOL at Level 1.
- Strong experience in preparing students for Speaking & Listening exams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
