Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Biology to Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, with a strong emphasis on biological concepts.
- Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment for biological exploration and experimentation.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Science (Biology), providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Biology or Science with a strong Biology background.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Biology at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of biological principles and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex biological ideas clearly and engagingly to students.
