Are you passionate about Primary Education and supporting children in their learning journey? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SupplyTeaching Assistantsto work across a large cluster of schools across Islington, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work in a rewarding educational environment.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting Primary school Teachers and students in the classroom. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
- Helping manage classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) where required
- Supervising pupils during break times and other school activities
- Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not essential)
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to adapt to different school environments and work flexibly
- A valid Enhance DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
