EYFS Practitioner
Location: Iver
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Long-term, Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay Rate: £95–£115 per day
A warm and welcoming primary school in Iver is seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is committed to supporting the development of young learners during their foundational years.
The school places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning, creativity, and emotional wellbeing. As an EYFS Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging activities, supporting early development, and fostering a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of high-quality EYFS provision in line with the Early Years Framework
- Lead small group and 1:1 activities to promote language, social, and motor skills development
- Observe and assess children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and reports
- Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning space that encourages curiosity and independence
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure each child’s needs are met
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through nurturing interactions
Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant EYFS qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent experience in an Early Years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Excellent communication, creativity, and organisational skills
- A caring and patient approach, with a genuine passion for early years education
- Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
