MIG Welder | £33k + (substantial overtime)
Purpose
As a MIG Welder, you’ll be an essential member of our production team, responsible for welding and fabricating components that will likely end up in the middle east on heavy plant. This role will involve reading technical drawings, ensuring high standards of workmanship whilst using a variety of techniques.

Your responsibilities as a MIG Welder
- Performing MIG welding on rotating table / jig.
- Working with stainless steel.
- High standard of finish.
- Thicknesses vary but the normal is 1.2mm.
- TIG experience would be a ‘nice to have’.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Operating welding equipment and carrying out basic maintenance.
Your experience as a MIG Welder will include
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with working with steel and other metals.
- A commitment to producing high-quality work with attention to detail.
- An understanding of health and safety standards in a workshop.
