Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager required for a well-established and growing manufacturer of Industrial Electrical products, based in Jarrow.

Due to continued success, they are seeking a Maintenance Manager to drive continuous improvements, oversee the team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers and implement planned preventative maintenance processes into the department.

• Providing guidance and leadership to the team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers
• Driving the implementation of a planned preventative maintenance schedule, with the goal to reduce reactive faults & breakdowns
• Providing hands-on assistance to the maintenance team, to minimise machinery downtimes
• Assisting with the installation of new machinery, and projects to move towards automation.

• Proven background within a Maintenance Management role
• Experience with the implementation of PPM schedules is desirable
• Based in a commutable distance of Jarrow
• Strong communication and team management skills
• Time-served or industry recognised qualifications within maintenance / mechanical engineering.

• Salary 38,000 - 48,000 depending on experience
• Working hours, Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
• Holiday allowance and pension
