Finance Systems ManagerAn excellent opportunity has opened up for a Finance Systems Manager to take ownership of finance technology systems in a leading professional services firm. This role is central to maintaining and enhancing the firm's practice management system and delivering a seamless user experience across the business.What you’ll be doing:
  • Manage and maintain the core finance system (Aderant), ensuring stability, security, and accuracy
  • Lead system upgrades, including a major transition to a cloud-based platform
  • Oversee user permissions, troubleshoot technical issues, and liaise with vendors and IT teams
  • Plan and implement new features, integrations, and data migrations
  • Provide user training and support to increase confidence and efficiency across teams
  • Support reporting, compliance, and data management needs for Finance
What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience supporting and configuring Aderant (or similar systems) in a professional services environment
  • Strong project management and troubleshooting skills
  • A tech-savvy mindset, with confidence in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools like Power BI or SSRS
  • Excellent communication skills – you’re comfortable supporting both technical and non-technical users
  • A detail-oriented, methodical approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
Bonus points if you have:
  • An accountancy or finance systems background
  • Experience with compliance reporting and system controls in regulated environments
