We have an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based at East Midlands Gateway. Due to new contracts, there are now long term opportunities for Class 1 Drivers to join a well run operation with a new fleet of trucks. The site also has a successful record of providing opportunities for Class 1 drivers to go permanent.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
+ Friday to Monday (Nights and Days available - fixed shifts)
+ Start times will be between 0500 and 0800 on days and 1700 and 2000 on nights
+ Guaranteed 9.6 hours minimum pay per shift
+ OT paid daily after 9.6 hours each day. Drivers will average around 50 hours across the 4 day pattern
The successful Class 1 Driver will:
+ Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
+ Have a valid Tacho and DQC card
+ Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:
+ Trunking goods around the UK
+ Trailer swaps and backloads
+ No handball
You will receive:
+ Days - 16.38 per hour
+ Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - 24.57 per hour
+ Nights - 18.75 per hour
+ Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - 28.12 per hour
