Trusts / Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Trusts / Tax Accountant, to join a well-respected law firm in Bradford. This role is ideal for accountants or tax professionals looking to switch to a law firm for a new challenge.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work closely with our specialist Trust & Probate Accountant within the private client team.
  • Handle a variety of tasks related to Wills, Trusts, and Probate, with the opportunity to specialise in Trusts.
  • Support Trust clients on complex tax queries, tax returns and capital gains advice. 
  • Utilise specialist technology systems and precedents to efficiently manage cases.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through STEP qualifications and other relevant training.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • An attention to detail and the ability to show this during interview 
  • A willingness to undertake the STEP Qualification & focus on Trusts in your career 
  • A strong knowledge of tax/accounting within a law firm (or a desire to learn this) 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to business development.
  • Advantageous to have prior experience within a law firm and with Trusts accounting & tax
