Role: BookkeeperLocation: KeighleySalary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annumHours:  Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5:00 pm  (will consider part-time applicants) Our client, a well-established and thriving accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Book keeper to join their busy team. Key Responsibilities: As a Bookkeeper, your primary duties will include:
  • Preparing general day-to-day accounts.
  • Supporting VAT return submissions and general bookkeeping tasks.
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Managing sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Handling credit control duties.
  • Setting up new client accounts.
  • Raising invoices and log expenses.
  • Providing support for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Performing ad-hoc accounts and administrative tasks as required.
 Skills and Experience Required: The ideal candidate will bring -
  • Proven practice experience as a Book keeper with at least 2 years' experience
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team.
