Job Title: English Teacher

Contract Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Daily Rate: £168 – £215 per day
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities
- Encourage a love for reading, writing and effective communication
- Monitor and support student progress through meaningful assessment and feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature (KS3 & KS4)
- Be confident in planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to inspiring young people and improving outcomes for all learners
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing
