At Engage Education, we are currently looking for an ambitious and creative Art Teacher for an Ofsted rated "Good" Secondary School in Bradford (BD20) where the role includes Teaching & Learning Responsibilities. This is a role to start from after June ideally on a temp-to-perm basis. If a June start is not possible, then the school is happy for a September start.
The school has curated an enthusiastic team and focuses on the development of both teachers and pupils. With a large uptake of Art at GCSE level, the school are looking to expand their department. Ideally seeking a suitable candidate who can commit to the role full time (part-time is considered for exceptional candidates), the school are looking for a role model who can inspire the next generation of artists. If you have a proven track record of raising attainment within schools and have a passion for Art & Design, we’d love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate has:
- Full QTS
- Experience in planning and delivering lessons to a high standard
- Confidence in teaching all abilities
- Great behaviour management skills
- The ability to think fast and adapt lessons accordingly
The Role:
- Secondary Art & Design Teacher + TLR
- There’s plenty of scope for TLRs ranging from Subject, Year Group and Phase Leadership opportunities.
