About the Role:
We are seeking experiencedOLEC 3 Linesmento join our rail projects in Scotland. You will play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of overhead line electrification (OLE) systems, ensuring installations comply with client requirements and national standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of OLE.
  • Safely handle overhead line equipment and inspect OLE components.
  • Ensure adherence to rail safety standards, protocols, and the Safe System of Work (SSOW).
  • Read diagrams and instructions to troubleshoot on-site issues.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and conduct thorough inspections to prevent defects.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other rail personnel, providing clear updates on work progress.
  • Lead/Mentor OLEC 2 colleagues where required

Requirements:

  • ValidOLEC 3 certification.
  • ValidPTS (Personal Track Safety) certificate.
  • Strong understanding of OLE processes, procedures, and safety compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Machine Operator competence
  • First Aid
