A client of ours in the Kelvedon area are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their small office team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm (40 hours) and paying 26,000 - 30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Input, maintain, and review accounting records
- Reconcile bank and VAT filing
- Credit control
- Posting purchase invoices
- Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist with year-end procedures
- Processing payments, invoices, and receipts
- Maintaining petty cash
- Answering and directing incoming calls
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant position:
- AAT accountancy qualified
- Previous experience within an accounts role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within a small team
- You must be able to drive due to the location of the business
