To join our small team based in our headquarters in Telford, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent to meet the organisation's staffing needs. This role requires a proactive approach to recruitment, utilising various platforms and tools to identify potential candidates while fostering strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday


About the Role

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates including skilled production operatives, maintenance engineering, sales personnel and other functions.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating offers.
  • Utilise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities.
  • Engage in lead generation activities to identify potential talent through social media management and networking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate pre-employment assessments as required.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, university events, and industry networking events and promote STEM activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to enhance the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.

Requirements

You will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using an ATS system for managing candidate information and recruitment processes.
  • Strong relationship management skills to foster connections with candidates and internal teams.
  • Experience with lead generation techniques to proactively source candidates.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
