Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial analysis.

  • Collaborate with operational teams to monitor cost controls and efficiencies.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Ideally working towards a recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
