Field Engineer – Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / ECS Gold Card)
Location: North West (Kendal – Dumfries/Lockerbie, near M6/A74)

Looking for a hands-on electrical role where no two days are the same?
We’re looking for a qualified electrician to join our field operations team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment on-site, working directly with clients, and taking ownership of their work.
What You’ll Do:

Prepare, install, and service equipment (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation – within competence).

Carry out final fit-outs and testing of new equipment at client sites.

Proactively maintain client sites and equipment schedules.

Respond to technical queries and support client teams.

Train client personnel on equipment use when needed.

Manage stock in vans and storage areas, ensuring tools and equipment are ready for work.

Complete all documentation accurately for installations, servicing, and maintenance.

Follow all health & safety guidelines, wearing PPE at all times.
What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation with ECS Gold Card (essential).

Previous experience on construction or commercial sites.

Experience with water treatment or environmental equipment is a bonus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure.

Full UK driving licence.
