Job Advert: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Kendal

Responsibilities:

  • As a Maintenance Technician your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:
  • Carrying out day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
  • Working under Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Carrying out routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules.
  • Carrying out electrical maintenance on PPM.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
  • Provide production support when and where required.
  • Completing department work record sheets when required.
  • Assisting other mechanical / operational departments when required.

The Person:

  • Have extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
  • Have proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting and solving problems.
  • Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices.
  • Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
  • Be able to work using your own initiative.
  • Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels.
