Permanent, Residential Team Leader (Full-Time) - job vacancy, Kendal, Cumbria (South Lakes Area)

Location:Kendal, Cumbria, South Lakes (commutable from Windermere, Ambleside, Grange-over-Sands, Milnthorpe, Kirkby Lonsdale, Penrith, and surrounding areas).

Benefits:

  • Salary:£31600to £33400 per annun
  • Sleep-in: £65 per sleep, approx. £3,120/year.
  • Contract: Full-Time (39 hours/week) or Part-Time options.
  • 1 sleep per week for 48 weeks a year.


Duties:

  • Lead and support residential care staff.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for young residents.
  • Manage care plans, activities, and daily routines.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and safeguarding regulations.


Criteria:

  • Level 3 Children & Young People or Children's Residential Care or equivalent.
  • Essential: 1+ years' experience in a residential care setting.
  • Car Driver Required.

Successful applicants will be subject to pre-employment safeguarding checks including an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.
